In a recent interview, Assassin’s Creed boss Marc-Alexis Coté reflected on how recent games struggled to create a meaningful connection between the past and the future. In the context of Assassin’s Creed, ancient history is recreated through the Animus, a virtual-reality machine that taps into a subject’s DNA and allows them to experience the genetically inherited memories of an ancestor. At the center of this idea was Desmond Miles, who entered the Animus and became a narrative anchor point for the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

GTA Online’s enormous new Agents of Sabotage expansion is now live, and is available to play for free. First unveiled in early December, Agents of Sabotage brings loads of content to the table, including a new property for purchase called The Darnell Bros Garment Factory, new missions, and of course, new wheels.
“After purchasing the legendary Darnell Bros Garment Factory, players will head underground to take on Los Santos’ super-rich and the military-industrial complex in a series of multi-part high-stakes scores employing the latest clandestine technology,” Rockstar said of the expansion’s plotline.

Even though Grand Theft Auto Online isn’t available on Nintendo Switch, that might not deter Rockstar from bringing GTA+ to the hybrid system. That’s because a website update pointed to the subscription service possibly coming to Switch.
VGC reported that Switch briefly appeared as a supported GTA+ platform on Rockstar’s website. However, any mention has now been scrubbed, with the service only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. GTA+ coming to Switch would be somewhat surprising, since one of its main benefits is extras for GTA Online–which is part of GTA V, a game not available on Nintendo’s system.

Iron Banner is back in Destiny 2 this week, following the Festival of the Lost with one easily noticeable change. Season 15’s Iron Forerunner gear now has a flaming animation. If you already have these armor pieces, all you need to do is put it on your character to see the flames. This was an update made this week, the Iron Forerunner armor has been around since the beginning of Season of the Lost.
